Zhao yi get the admission in USC, after talked to Chang, seems he has a chance of getting fundings. That's great. Really hope these 2 great friends can meet together.

Finished French comprehensive test, thanks for the patient help from Tom :) But I should work more on my French.

Went to the vocal power workshop, seems I should choose to be an actor ;P

Some cards and words recieved from my friends... My big treasure.

>From Veronica,

I greet the Godess in you, thank you for your wonderful card and am honoured
by learning that I have the privilege to inspire and encourage people like
you. It is indeed your gift to me! I just know you will do outstandingly in
academics as in life. By the way, I'd like to point you to a marvelous book
I just read: "Force vs. Power", by David Hawkins, 1995.

All the best,
always. Love,

>From Irene,

You can do almost anything you put your mind to,
You can swim the deepest ocean and climb the highest peak.Be a doctor or fly
a plane. you can face adversity and still walk tall. You are
strong, beautiful and compassinate, and much more than words could ever say.
Today is yours and is every other day!

>From Na,

I would rather be a tree, beautiful and less suffering....

>From Dana
Thank you dear Wendy, your card brought tears to my eyes and I thought I
must have done something right if I get a card like this. Yes, being a
woman is a gift, although hard many times; being a mother is a wonderful
experience and I wouldn't exchange that with anything in the world.
I too admire you for being so brave and living by yourself so far away
from home, tackling at this difficult job as a graduate student, in a
challenging field, in a different language and culture, while still
keeping a nice and optimistic attitude for life. I wish my sons found
girls like you to marry later on in life, but you know what, they are
really difficult to find. The guy who's gonna marry you is pretty lucky,
and he'd better behave:-) or I'll kick his bottom:-)

  • Hey, dear Na, everyone's words are important for me, which can not measured by length. To have you friends is my big blessing in the world. :)
